After receiving a grant from the National Recreation and

Department along with the Mayors Fitness Council are offering

adults ages 50 plus a new way to stay fit.

The program

Walk with Ease will be offered free to the community. This

PM at the San Juan Plaza.

Walk with Ease is a 6 week exercise program that has been

proven to reduce pain, improve overall health, increased balance,

strength, walking pace and stamina.

One major goal that the program seeks to accomplish is for

our community to be supportive of one another and build confidence

in one ability to be healthier and more physically

active.

The City of Eagle Pass invites all state employees and the

community to take advantage of this great exercise opportunity.

Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu invites the community

to participate in this event. “We invite you to come join us

in one of the many exercise programs and events happening

throughout our city. Remember, it’s important to stay healthy

and fit.”
