Bridge system reports decrease in January traffic

The Eagle Pass International Bridge System has reported a decrease in vehicle crossings for January of 2018.
Bridge System reports show that during the month of January there was a 3.4 percent decrease when compared to January of 2017. The decrease accounts for  7,084 less vehicle crossings during this time period.


The report indicates that  197,111 vehicles crossed into Mexico from the U.S side and compares this figure to the total crossings in 2017 which totaled 204,195.
The EP Bridge System pedestrian crossings rose during January of 2018 totaling 54,462 crossings, an increase of 2,278 pedestrians when compared to the 52,184 that were reported in 2017. This accounts for a 4.3 percent increase.
Commercial vehicle crossings also showed a substantial increase with a total of 14, 263 crossing, an increase of 10 percent.

El Sistema de Puente Internacional Eagle Pass ha informado una disminución en los cruces de vehículos para enero 
Los informes de Bridge System muestran que durante el mes de enero hubo una disminución del 3.4 por ciento en comparación con enero de 2107.
La disminución representa 7.084 menos cruces de vehículos durante este período de tiempo.
El informe indica que 197,111 vehículos cruzaron a México desde el lado de los EE. UU. Y compara esta cifra con los cruces totales en 2017, que sumaron 204,195.
Los cruces peatonales del sistema EP Bridge aumentaron durante enero de 2018, totalizando 54,462 cruces, un aumento de 2,278 peatones en comparación con los 52,184 que se reportaron en 2017. Esto representa un aumento del 4.3 por ciento.
Los cruces de vehículos comerciales también mostraron un aumento sustancial con un total de 14, 263 cruces, un aumento del 10 por ciento.
