Judge Saucedo welcomed Iracheta into the county government organization and extended the olive branch to work together in assuring the county court system moves forward.
Iracheta thanked Judge Saucedo and the entire commissioners court for their vote of confidence and stated that he was ready to do whatever it took to move the court cases and office of the Maverick County Attorney along in a smooth transition.
Iracheta was appointed due to the fact that former Maverick County Attorney Ricardo Ramos resigned his position by signing up to run for the position of Judicial District Judge for the 293rd district in the upcoming March primary.
Iracheta will be serving an unexpired term until 2020, he will then have to decide if he will run for the position.
