The BEDC will also take this opportunity to formally welcome the newest member of the Eagle Pass City Council, Mr. William “Billy” Davis.

  Councilman Davis currently serves on the BEDC Business & Industry Sub-committee and as Chairman for the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce.  Council Davis previously served as a member of the City Council prior to his most recent election. 

   “Councilman Davis has been a staunch supporter of the BEDC since the beginning and we are happy to have him representing the business community on our team,” says BEDC Chairman Morris Libson.

   The BEDC consists of 45 dedicated volunteers representing every industry in Eagle Pass.  There are ten standing committees led by and Executive Committee: Mayor Ramsey English-Cantu (Co-Chair City/County Intergovernmental Committee), Judge David Saucedo (Co-Chair City/County Intergovernmental Committee), Hector Cerna (Chair Business & Industry), Lewis Stock (Vice-Chair B & I), Gilberto Gonzalez (Chair Labor Workforce & Training), Ronnie Rivera (Vice-Chair LWT), Chris Hiller (Chair Transportation & Infrastructure), Sammy Juve (Vice-Chair T & I), Ricardo Calderon (Chair Marketing), Jaime Rodriguez (Chair Amenities Tourism & Visitors), Scott Eldridge (Vice-Chair AT & V), Cecilia Mascorro (Chair Government Relations), Raul Perez (Vice-Chair GR), Ricardo Gonzalez (Chair Cross-Border Relations), Larry Martin (Vice-Chair CBR), Nik Libson (Energy & Natural Resources), and Pat Saucedo (Chair Executive Labor Mentoring).
