There was a large student response to the effort. “We are so proud of the impact
students had on this drive,” stated President Daniela Flores-Aleman, “…Armando Cerna Elementary held a classroom collection competition and SWTJC collected items on campus, the students answered our call to action and helped us smash last year’s collection two- fold.”
Vice President Yuri Perez comments about the example parents are setting for their children as well, “Families arrived together to donate and by helping they are showing children that animals matter and that they must do their part.”
Project COMPANION would like to thank BBVA Compass Bank, Girl Scout Troops, SWTJC Psychology Class, Armando Cerna Elementary Students, our pet loving
community and of course, ProCo’s awesome team of volunteers!
