Chamber of Commerce Board of Director Mike Garcia hosted the event and welcomed all in attendance including health care representatives from the Maverick County Hospital District and Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers Public Officials and community members.
Garcia presented the facility administrator Steve Sosa who thanked everyone for attending and their continued support. This is a very special occasion and celebration for us. Our goal here at Maverick Nursing & Rehabilitation is to make sure that our patients get the very best care.”
Garcia proceeded to introduce Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu who addressed those in attendance and the Centers administration and employees. “I recall being here as a City Council member when we held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of this facility. Now , ten years I am here as Mayor of this city presenting to the public the renovation of the facility. I congratulate everyone who day in and day out are part of this great team.”
Senior Vice President of Operations J. Paul Storian thanked the administration for their hard work and dedication. “I want to thank an important group for making everything happen and that is our 110 employees that work tirelessly everyday.”
The group then proceeded to cut the traditional ribbon to welcome in the new and improved changes in the facility.
