HEB Store Director Andy Perales announced that the traditional thanksgiving dinner is open to everyone in the community.
Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu extends the invitation and is grateful that HEB and so many volunteers continue to participate in this tradition on a yearly basis.
Guests will be served a thanksgiving meal consisting of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, vegetables, bread rolls, pumpkin pie, and refreshments.
There will also be live entertainment for the guests to enjoy.
Over 9,000 meals are expected to be served during the grandiose event.
The H.E.B. Feast of Sharing community dinners were founded in 1989 and are part of H.E.B.’s Food Bank Assistance Program. There are at least 31 dinners held across Texas and Mexico serving more than 250,000 meals to communities all across the region.
