The Eagle Pass Evening Lions Club, Eagle Pass Border Lions Club, and HEB held a health awareness event in the HEB parking lot from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
During the event the Lions Club, through medical professionals and their mobile eye screening unit, were providing blood pressure testing, vision screenings, and glaucoma testing.
Employees from the HEB Pharmacy were also providing blood pressure and diabetes screenings inside of the store by the pharmacy department at no cost.
Numerous individuals took advantage of the health services being provided by the non profit organization.
