remember who we are, where we came from, and why we're here. We must remember the past, honor those who are no longer with us, focus on today's battles, and get ready for tomorrow. But we must prevail together, united by the unyielding spirit in each of us that makes our Corps unique -- that willingness to put our Corps and fellow Marines ahead of ourselves. Victory in battle comes through the integrated efforts of many -- teamwork.”
For more than 20 years local Marines Hector Jimenez, Jorge Trevino and Sgt. Stoller have celebrated the Marine Corps birthday, November 10, here in Eagle Pass. “We intend to maintain the traditions locally of sharing our Marine stories and celebrating the most reverend traits that characterize the U.S. Marines,” said Jimenez.
Vietnam veteran and Commissioner Roberto Ruiz has been in charge of providing a cake to celebrate the tradition of giving the first piece to the youngest Marine present. The local Marines are cordially inviting all Marines to muster Friday, November 10 at the grounds of the EPGolf course beginning at 6:00 p.m.
