Davis is the third and final candidate to compete for the position that has been vacated by City Councilwoman Gloria Hernandez’s automatic resignation when she announced that she will be running for Maverick County Judge.
“My commitment and desire to serve my community while not in Council has remained as I have remained serving our community through the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce and will always be a public servant as I love our community,” said Davis.
Davis previously served as a city council member until 2015 when he decided not to seek re-election, but has continued serving the public and community as President of the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, a position which he has held for multiple years.
The Eagle Pass City Council special election will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Multi-Purpose Center.
