Assitant Fire Chief Rodolfo Cardona confirmed the details of the incident which occurred at approximatley 2:30 p.m., stating that the driver lost control of his motorcycle and struck a curb, suffering serious injuries upon impact.
The EPFD responded to the scene of the accident and determined that AirEvac would be needed due to the severity of the driver’s injuries. The patient was airlifted to San Antonio and had sustained multiple fractures as well head trauma. The driver’s identity has not yet been released.
