It took the Lady Eagles three games to notch the win 25-19, 25-11, 25-18. This was a complete team effort.
Leading the way from the service line was Paola Rodriguez and Ashley Garcia with 19,18 points to aid the win.
Alianna Torres and Nataly Martinez both helped control the offense as they pitched in 18 passes each in the win. The setter Larissa Moyeda had herself a great game running the Lady Eagles offense setting outside hitter Garcia who had 9 kills, alongside her teammate Rodriguez who had 6 kills of her own.
The Lady Eagles kept the pressure in the middle with senior Ashley Barrientos patrolling the net helping out with 3 blocks.
The Lady Eagles open district play Friday at home against last year's district champ Laredo Alexander at the Student Activity Center 6:30 pm.
