EP native hopes for professional MMA career

Drako Rodriguez has been fighting all his life to survive and succeed in order to overcome the hardships of living on

the border. Rodriguez was born in Minnesota on June 16,1996 and was raised in Eagle Pass, Texas in the Eidson Road area of the community until 2011 when he moved to Iowa where he began his journey towards a professional career in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)field.
Drako is now living in Sioux City Iowa and has turned his fighter mentality  into a flourishing Mixed Martial Arts career competing in the King of the Cage organizational league.
Rodriguez is competing in the super flyweight amateur category (140 lbs.) and is the champion with an impressive undefeated record of 13 wins and no losses.
 Rodriguez is affiliated with One Combat Academy and is currently ranked No.1 in the United States Midwest of 1,039 active U.S. Midwest Amateur Featherweights. Rodriguez is also ranked 1st in Bantamweight of 1,039 fighters as well.
 Rodriguez has knocked out 6 of his opponents with punches and has submitted 4 others and has won 3 fights by score card decision.
 Rodriguez is expected to turn pro and have an outstanding career ahead of him.
