Representatives from the Mexican Consulate, Representative Poncho Nevarez’s office, Chick-fil-a and Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce were some of those in attendance.

In honor of their grand opening, Blue Wave offered free car washes all day Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Patrons also had the chance to win prizes when they signed up for the VIP Program, including one of 25 month memberships being given out that would allow for washes up to twice a day everyday for a month. Prizes from local vendors including Ancira Ford, Chick-fil-A, Desert Lanes Bowling Alley, Gaona’s Restaurant, McDonalds, and Parrillada de San Miguel will also be given away.

The business is offering buy one month get one free endless washes.

“We’re very excited to have you all as part of our community, we’re excited to see you have employed people from the community, and given economic development opportunities for our city,” said Mayor Ramsey English Cantu.
