Maverick County Attorney Ricardo Ramos was present at Commissioners Court meeting held on Thursday, June 29 to announce that the County Attorney’s Office Supervisor Lupita Landin would be retiring.

Ramos stated that he was sad to see Landin go, but that after holding her back from this day for many years she had finally decided it was time to enjoy her retirement years.

“She really has been an asset to the Maverick County Attorney’s Office,” said Ramos. “I want to take the time to thank Mrs. Landin on behalf of the county for the time you have worked for us.”

Landin has worked for the county for over 18 years, serving under County Attorney Ricardo Ramos and Mr. Mireles.

Maverick County Commissioner Pct.4 Roberto Ruiz who was presiding the commissioners meeting due to the absence of County Judge David Saucedo, thanked Landin for her hard work and dedication and years of loyalty to the county.
