Director of the GT summer program, Juan Leija was happy to see so many kids take advantage of this opportunity to extend their learning.
“First grade through third grade did science experiments and activities with Lego blocks. In fourth grade the students were programming robotics, and in fifth grade they also did a lot of experiments and worked on a newspaper,” said Leija. “This is the first year working with drones for the sixth graders. They enjoyed the three week program very much.”
