Man arrested for posession with intent to sell in Hector Munoz Park

Maverick County Constables Deputies for Precinct 3 AB have caught yet another man near a children’s park in the Seco Mines area with drugs packaged and ready to sell.


Maverick County Constable Mario Hernandez reports that on Thursday June 15, deputies from his department responded to a call from a citizen about a suspicious individual walking through a backstreet and appeared to be smoking something that could be marijuana.
Deputy constables responded to the area and began a search of an individual that had been described by the caller.
A man was found near Mariana Street in the vicinity of the Hector Munoz Park. The individual, identified as 18-year-old Mauro Orlando Fuentes, matched the description of the person reported in the area. Deputy constables then initiated contact with the male individual. While speaking to the individual the deputies smelled a strong distinct odor of marijuana emanating from his person . The deputies then proceeded with following the necessary procedures to be able to search the individual.
Deputy constables found Fuentes in possession of 16 individual baggies of marijuana.
Fuentes was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and was transported to the Tom Bowels Detention Center for booking.
 Maverick County Constable PCT. 3AB  Mario Hernandez said his department, alongside the Maverick County Sheriff Department, will continue being vigilant to assure the safety and peace of the community.
This is the second time in less than a month that the Maverick County Constables Office Pct 3 AB have arrested a person with drugs near a children’s park in the Seco Mines area.
