Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu and the city council kicked -off the convention for the TSALC with a welcoming ceremony in which the Mayor addressed over 500 members of the letter carriers association. “The City of Eagle Pass is proud to welcome all of the letter carriers from the Texas State National Association. As over 800 letter carriers and their families are attending our community this week.”said Cantu “They hold this conventions twice a year in order to discuss issues of the letter carriers , the unions and all that takes place in order to show additional support for all of our letter carriers.”
“We want to welcome you to our community as we are so appreciative of all the work that you all do.”
The convention consisted of different activities for the TSALC members including educational classes and other vital important informative sessions.
The TSALC convention is one of the biggest event of its type in our community held at the ITC since its opening.
The TSALC 2015-2017 officers are President is Carlos Rodriguez Jr. Vice President Marvin D Ruyle, Secretary Ktherine McGarity, Treasurer Dana Culpepper and Director of Retired Elisabeth Goodwin.
TSALC has branches in this Texas cities Wichita Falls , Lubbock ,Victoria , Garland , Hurst-Eulis-Bedford , Killeen , Laredo , Plano , San Antonio , Corpus Christi , Brownsville , Tyler , Denton , Grand Prairie El Paso and Abilene.
