congratulated the largest graduating class in the school’s history, and wished them the best of luck.
Valedictorian Jose P. Jimenez thanked his family, his girlfriend, and administration for their support, and encouraged everyone to keep getting back up even when life knocks them down.
“You all have the capability to do whatever you want, so my fellow graduating class of 2017, wherever we go and whatever we do, may we always be friends, may we always be challenging ourselves to reach our fullest potential, and may we all make an effort to make a positive impact in this world,” said Jimenez. “The future is in our hands, so let’s go forward and show the world who we are.”
Salutatorian Erik Chavarria also thanked those present for the graduation, including the EPISD school board and C.C. Winn staff who helped prepare them for their life after high school, but was especially grateful for the support he received from his parents.
