The Eagle Pass Housing Authority was selected, and thanks to shoppers from Eagle Pass, surrounding communitites and customers from Mexico, a total of $2,064.00 was raised to help the organization. The Eagle Pass Housing Authority selected several resident students, and will honor them with a scholarship to assist them with their future education.
“We were able to give scholarships to the six applicants from our housing projects that live in section 8, or public housing,” said Housing Authority Executive Director Criselda Salazar. “The six applicants received scholarships of $700, and with Beall’s help we were able to give them to every applicant. We were also able to make them a banquet. Thank you very much to Mr. Enriquez and the Beall’s staff.”
