Eagle Pass
The Department of Public Works in Eagle Pass is working to better our streets, namely Second Street from Comal to Trinity and due to this, Second Street will be closed and motorists should be aware that they will need to take the necessary precautions to avoid traffic jams and backlogs which will go hand in hand with these closings. Equally, other reparation projects on Second Street will begin this December 4th according to press releases from the City of Eagle Pass and heavy equipment and municipal employees will be utilized and will be en force in this area. The barricades will be set up throughout the process in order to direct the flow of traffic and authorities say they will adopt measures to continue the flow of traffic as to not interrupt day to day traffic in this area. The city asks that residents be patient with the sound and the dust of the construction in the area. Please obey the traffic signs and the construction signs. No parking will be allowed in the Second Street area. Second Street will be closed from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. to facilitate the completion of said projects.
