500 seniors from each high school to graduate in Class of 2017

   The Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) is in preparation for graduation ceremonies during the first week of June. 

    The district has announced that approximately 500 high school seniors from each high school will be graduating this year.  

    EPHS will be holding their graduation ceremony on Friday, June 2, at 8:00 p.m., while C.C. Winn High School will hold their commencement on Saturday, June 3, at 8:00 p.m. 

    Both events will be held at the EPISD Student Activities Center, weather permitting. 

    Valedictorians and salutatorians will be announced within the following weeks, as well as both schools’ top 5 percent students.

   The Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Community breakfast at Luby’s on May 24 where they will present the five top ranking students from both high schools.

   EPISD will also be hosting their annual scholarship nights this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Both ceremonies will be held at the Student Activity Center Fine Arts Building.

The C.C. Winn Awards Ceremony  will be held Wednesday, May 17 at 6:00 p.m., and the EPHS Awards Ceremony will be on Thursday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m.
