Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu thanked the community for showing their support for the local young ladies who participated.

 Contestant Daniela Rodriguez was crowned Miss Eagle Pass, Fernanda Gonzalez was crowned Miss Maverick County, Yulissa Jimenez was crowned Miss International Friendship Festival, and Carolina Perez was crowned Miss Fiestas Patrias. Aileen Garcia was crowned Miss Teen Eagle Pass; Perla Gonzalez was crowned Miss Teen Maverick County; Valeria Borrego was crowned Miss Teen International Friendship Festival; and Ximena Perez was crowned Miss Teen Fiestas Patrias.  Miss Pre-teen Eagle Pass is Yarely Perez; Miss Pre-teen Maverick County is Valeria Esparza; Miss Pre-teen Internationanl Friendship Festival is Christina Williams; and Miss Pre-teen Fiestas Patrias is Alissa Cortes. Little Miss Eagle Pass is Akira Cortes; Little Miss Maverick County is Miley Salinas; Little Miss International Friendship Festival is Makayla Rodriguez; and Little Miss Fiestas Patrias is Karyna Aguilar.

    The City of Eagle Pass is the Official Proud Sponsor of all 16 Queen Titles given: Miss Eagle Pass, Miss Maverick County, Miss International Friendship Festival, Miss Fiestas Patrias, as well as little miss titles.

  Winners were awarded scholarship prizes. 

  “As Mayor, I congratulate the outgoing Miss Eagle Pass Marychelo Flores, and all that she did to foster a great City of Eagle Pass Royalty Program. You have raised the bar for our next Miss Eagle Pass 2017,”said Cantu.

   The Miss Eagle Pass Pageant is a Jimenez Clark Production under Pageant Coordinator Mrs. Rosa Elena Clark and Asst. Pageant Coordinator Kimberly Clark-Ballesteros.
