Authorities confirm Abrazo Ceremony to be held on bridge No. 1

 Public officials from Piedras Negras, Coahuila have announced that the Abrazo Ceremony location has been changed to Eagle Pass International Bridge No.1, and will not be taking place at the Camino Real International Bridge 2 as announced last week.

   Information as to the change was limited, but as of press time the Abrazo Ceremony has been moved back to Bridge 1 and will begin at 5:30 pm.  

  The Council of Good Neighbors has chosen Roger Perez to represent Eagle Pass, and Carlos Coral to represent Piedras Negras as the two Mr. Amigos the ceremony taking place on Friday March 24, 2017.

   The annual International Friendship Festival will kick off on Friday, March 24 and will include a variety of family oriented events throughout the week.
