The arrest took place Wednesday, March 15, 2017, and the subject, identified as 28-year-old Luis Emanuel Gonzalez.
Gonzalez was formally charged with sexual assault, magistrated and given a $100,000 bond.
This is the second sexual assault reported in the community in two weeks.
On March 6, 2017, Osvaldo Tijerina turned himself in at the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office after sexually assaulting a young woman. Tijerina was charged with aggravated assault and held under a $75,000 bond.
The Maverick County Sheriff’s Office was summoned to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical center in reference to a possible sexual assault.
Upon their arrival, contact was made with a female adult who reported that she had been touched inappropriately by an Tijerina.
Arrangements were made for a Sexual Assault Examination on the victim.
