The owner of the restaurant said its last day in business will be this Sunday, March 19, as he will be retiring. He originally had two of the restaurants in Laredo, one in Del Rio, and one in Eagle Pass.
Last year the Laredo locations were closed, and after getting a good offer from another restaurant who bought the building, he sold the Eagle Pass location, too.
The devaluation of the peso did affect the business, but not as badly as it has many in the downtown area. The main reason the location was sold was because the owner is retiring.
