Dozens gathered at Shelby Park to participate in the family friendly event benefitting both the school and the church’s food pantry.
The top placing male for the 5K race was Carlos Noe Guerrero, who placed first overall, with a time of 21:14. The top female was Marialuisa Ramirez ,who placed sixth overall, with a time of 26:29.
In second overall was Sebastian Casas from the 15 to 19 age category with a time of 23:28; in third was Alexis Aleman from the 11 to 14 age category with a time of 23:48; and fourth was Leonel Ramirez from the 60 to 99 age category with a time of 25:41.
The top placing male for the 10K race was Marco Aranda who came in first overall with a time of 47:07. The top female was Minny Iñiguez who placed thirteenth overall with a time of 54:22.
In second overall was Francisco Vielma Jr. from the 30 to 39 age category with a time of 47:51; in third was Coach Eddie Hernandez from the 50 to 59 age category with a time of 48:07; and in fourth place was Noe B. Guerrero from the 40 to 49 male category with a time of 49:02.
