Certificates of Obligation election to be held May 6

The Maverick County 8.5 million dollar Certificates of Obligation election stemming from a petition from residents will be decided on May, 6, 2017. 

The County Elections Department has announced that early voting will begin on April 24th through May 1st 2017 and will be taking place at the Maverick County Commissioners courtroom located at 500 Quarry Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m with special hours to be set in place during April 24 and May 1st from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

 

Election Day will be on May, 6, 2017 and hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

 

Maverick County will be consolidating precincts for this electoral process according to information from the Maverick County Elections Department .

 

During election day , May 6 Precinct 1 A, 1B and 1 C will all vote at the Maverick Memorial Junior High School located at 1800 Lewis St. 

 

Precinct 2A , 2 B and 2Cwill vote at San Luis Elementary located at 2090 A Williams st. 

Precinct 2 D will vote at the El Indio Community Center at 115 West Tx st. 

 

 Precinct 3A and 3B will vote at Seco Mines Elementary School located at 2900 Diaz st. 

 

 Precinct 3 C will vote at the Quemado Community Center located at 20160 U.S. Hwy 277. 

 

Precinct 4 A, 4B, 4C and 4d will all vote at the Eagle Pass High School (girls gym) located at 2020 2nd Street.
