The event will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during which guests will be treated to dinner, the new Chamber Board members’ oath of office, the Chamber President’s Report, the announcement of 2016 Citizen of the Year award recipient, and a keynote address from State Representative Alfonso “Poncho” Nevarez. 

Nevarez is currently serving his third term as State Representative and was recently assigned to the Calendars Committee, General Investigating and Ethics Committee, Natural Resources Committee, and will continue to serve as Vice-Chair of Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee for the 85th Texas Legislative Session.

Camara de Comercio tendrá su banquete anual

La Cámara de Comercio de Eagle Pass celebrará su 90º banquete anual el viernes 24 de febrero en el Centro Internacional de Comercio.

El evento se llevará a cabo de 7:00 pm a 9:30 pm , el nuevo juramento de los miembros de la Junta de Cámara, el Presidente de la Cámara, el anuncio del premio a el 2016 Ciudadano del Año y un Discurso inaugural del Representante Estatal Alfonso "Poncho" Nevarez.

Nevarez actualmente está cumpliendo su tercer mandato como Representante Estatal y recientemente fue asignado al Comité de Calendarios, Comité General de Investigación y Ética, Comité de Recursos Naturales y continuará siendo Vicepresidente del Comité de Seguridad Nacional y Seguridad Pública de la 85a. Sesión Legislativa.
