SWTJC, City host College & Career Day

South West Texas Junior College and the City of Eagle Pass are hosting a College & Career Day “Developing Futures Together” for local high school students on today February 16, 2017 from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm at the City of Eagle Pass International Center for Trade Center located on 3295 Bob Rogers Drive.


The College & Career Day will be held to allow high school students an opportunity to explore their options and begin to shape their educational and professional future.
 Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu an alumni of our Higher Learning Educational System states that the City of Eagle Pass is honored to host such events alongside our Junior College.
“We at the City Hall are proud to partner with the Junior College in such efforts to prepare our future leaders with the educational opportunities that are offered here in Eagle Pass through our Junior College and University System. As an Alumni of both institutions. I hope that our youth will take advantage and see how they can prepare themselves for whatever future they set out for. In today's society Education is key and I hope to see our local students take advantage of this great educational event.” said Mayor Cantu
