Martinez states that the schedule of events are as follows: March 24 – “Abrazo” Ceremony & Dinner – International Bridge 1 at 5:30 p.m, March 24-April 2 – Amusement Carnival – Shelby Park, Nightly, March 30-April 1 – Noches Mexicanas – Shelby Park, March 26 – Amistad Bowling Tournament (Desert Lanes, 1:00 p.m.), April 1 – Parade “Fun at the Circus” (Downtown Eagle Pass,11:00 a.m.) and other events to be announced at a later date.
The International Friendship Festival is an event organized by the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce with collaboration from the City of Eagle Pass, the Eagle Pass Lions Club, EP/PN Good Neighbor Council, and Eagle Pass Arts Council.
