Main Street Director Joe J. Cruz and the City of Eagle Pass invite the entire community to stop by and participate.
“All children are welcome, and all you need to participate is show up and bring a pencil,” said Cruz.
Another event that will be taking place during that day will be an Artist Lock In Event, where artists are invited to come together and create, spend some time together in a community type setting with other artists, and where the art created will later be used and displayed in an art event to be held in the near future.
Artist setup begins at 9:30 p.m., and in progress critiques scheduled for 12:00 a.m., 3:00 a.m., and 6:00 a.m. Breakfast and MSA member meeting will be at 7:00 a.m. the next day.
The community is also invited to come by and visit with local artists as the doors will be open for public view from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
“We are promoting and encouraging a love for the arts to bring art culture to the community forefront,” said Cruz.
Many artists have gotten together with Main Street Director Joe J.Cruz and Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu in promoting the Eagle Pass arts scene. Thanks to Joaquin Davila, they have now found a place where artists in the community community can exhibit their art, and a culture of expression is cultivating itself into a movement.

Main Street organiza clase de dibujo para niños
