Luz Gamboa Rangel of Crystal City celebrated her 107th birthday on February 8, 2017.
Gamboa Rangel received a proclamation from Mayor Frank Moreno, Jr. , honoring her as the Oldest Citizen of the City of Crystal City, and making February 8, 2017 “Luz Gamboa Rangel Day.” She was also honored with a reception at city hall.
On Saturday she opened her home to the residents of Crystal City to share cake and coffee to celebrate the momentous occasion.
