Eagles improve to 3-2 overall Eagles 21 - LBJ 19

The Eagle Pass High School Eagles won their district home game against Laredo LBJ, 21 to 19 after a cancellation on Saturday night due to lightning in the area and resumed on Monday. The win gives the Eagles a 3-2 overall record this year splitting their two district games with a loss against Alexander. 

 In their next game, the Eagles will be facing the South San Antonio  Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) in a district game, on Friday, October 7. The Eagles will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record, while the Bobcats enter with a 0-5 record after their 58-14 district game loss to Laredo United.

The LBJ Wolves (0-5) face Del Rio in their next game. The Rams currently boast a 5-0 record after a win against Laredo Alexander, 24-0.

Laredo United, Laredo United South and Del Rio currently sit atop the 6A Region IV District 29 standings with a 2-0 record.  Alexander has also spilt their district games with a 1-1 record followed by Southwest, LBJ and South San who have lost their first two district games.
