A tractor trailer rollover occurred on Highway 57 early Thursday morning. At approximately 4:40 a.m., a trailer carrying furniture flipped over after the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer, said Chief Sheriff’s Deputy Robert De Leon. Clean up finished at approximately 12:30 p.m., said De Leon. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, more than 6,000 automobile accidents in 2015 were a result of a wild animal on the road in rural areas. In urban areas, wild animals were the result of almost 1,000 accidents in 2015.
