On Aug. 29, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Eagle Pass Station arrested Martin Reyes-Duque, 38, a Mexican national after he illegally entered the United States. Border Patrol agents discovered during processing that Reyes-Duque has an active warrant dated Aug. 20, 2014 and is wanted for homicide in Dallas.

Reyes-Duque has been previously deported from the United States and faces a charge of illegal re-entry after deportation - 8 USC § 1326 – which carries a possible sentence up to 20 years in prison.
