Seargent Albert Zapata informed The News Gram that the trailer had turned left on Hwy 57 on Adams at the new industrial park and may have not seen the vehicles approaching. The impact was at a high rate of speed on the side of the driver of the first vehicle, killing him instantly. Abascal's vehicle was directly behind this first vehicle and his GMC Yukon also impacted the flatbed trailer.
