Body Found of Man who Died of Dehydration

The Mexican Consulate in Eagle Pass informed The News Gram that on Tuesday, September 25th, Dimmit County Sheriff's personnel came upon the body of a man on the Dolph Briscoe Ranch on FM 1916 in Carrizo Springs at around noon. The body is of a man 5'5" in height. He had no other forms of identification and was wearing black in color Nike tennis shoes. JP Sonia Mendoza was called in to pronounce the body. She did so and stated the cause of death to be dehydration. Mendoza ordered a DNA test in order to help identify the body. The man was taken by Leonard Funeral Home and will be taken to Webb County for an official autopsy to determine the cause of death. If anyone has any information which can lead to the identification of this individual can contact the consulate at 830-773-9255.
