UMC Clinic Manager Humberto Duran informed The News Gram that they have begun reducing the amount of appointments for their physicians in order to provide better service to their patients.
"We want our doctors to have more time, quality time when seeing their patients. It's part of our goal to insure our patients the best health care possible," said Duran.
He would also like to ask all UMC patients to please call in if and when you are not going to be able to make an appointment.
"All of our doctors and Physician Assistants are completely booked through mid-October, therefore we only have two walk-in appointments per day and you must call early to see if those might be available. If someone calls in to inform us they won't be able to make it, another spot opens up."
