Local citizens needed for play Auditions for community theater production “An Evening With Edgar Allen Poe” set for next Wednesday

Tryouts for the community theater production of “An Evening With Edgar Allen Poe” will take place from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16th at the C.C. Winn Auditorium.  Anyone interested should pick up audition information at the Chamber of Commerce.

        Several male and female roles are available for the play, which features some of Edgar Allen Poe’s most famous works, including “The Tell Tale Heart,” “The Fall of the House of Usher” and “The Premature Burial.”

       All rehearsals will take place from 7-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays with the final presentation set for Wednesday and Thursday, October 28-29, 2015. 

       Co-sponsored by the Arts Council of Eagle Pass and the C.C. Winn Drama Club, the play will be presented as a dinner theater performance and proceeds will go to the Chad Foster Memorial Scholarship for students interested in a career in the fine arts.

         Anyone from college age and up may audition for the play.  Please call director Adolfo Flores at 776-1258 for more information.
