Community Relations Director Daryl Fields of the US Attorney's Office Western District of Texas has informed The News Gram of the fact that the civil case between UMB Bank, N.A. v. Maverick County Public Facility Corporation is in fact going to be heard in Del Rio before either The Honorable Alia Moses or The Honorable Victor Garcia, US District Judges.
We reached out to the US Federal Court offices, however, no official date has been set for this case to be heard.
What we do know is that the jury selection and trial previously set for September 8th for County Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales has been pushed back as he has changed legal counsel.
The case is now set for docket call on October 13, 2015. Jury selection and trial is set to begin on November 17th at 9:00 AM.
