Many people stood in line from as early as 6:00 AM to be some of the fortunate to receive shoes for school, one of the most popular items which are available on a first come first served basis along with school supplies at the 2015 Back To School health Fair organized by Mario Guerra of Quad Counties who as soon as today will begin organizing next year's event.

Senator Carlos Uresti's office provided backpacks for the children of the EPISD once again and his staff were on hand to distribute.

Besides the free supplies, the most important aspect of this health fair are the hea;th services which many of Eagle Pass' and South Texas' finest agencies were here to provide such as screenings, immunization checks and even athletic physicals absolutely free.

"The main thing is for our students to feel comfortable and to have everything they need to go back to school," said EPISD Superintendent Gilbert Gonzalez.
