According to preliminary reports, a family of Central American nationals were seen crossing the river and after nearly making it to the US side, saw border patrol officials, became alarmed and attempted unsuccessfully to make it back to the Mexican side.

   When News Gram cameras arrived on the scene, rescue boats from the Eagle Pass Fire Department were ready to be deployed, put to use and retrieve the victims from the waters of the river, however, the first of the cadavers was found near the Mexican side of the river.

   The case is still under investigation and as of press time only three of the four members of this young family have been found.  It is reported that the victims were a mother and her three children of varying ages who perished in the deep and sometimes swirling waters adjacent to International Bridge I.

4 Ahogados en Rio Bravo

El lunes cerca de las 8:30 de la noche se reportó que varias personas se estaban ahogando en el rio, rapidamente acudieron oficiales de policia , diputados, border patrol y bomberos,   habia mas de 20 unidades de oficiales de la ley. 

Se tiene muy poca información en el departamento de policia ya que aparentemente  una mujer con 3 niños intentaban cruzar el rio bravo y degracidamente las traicioneras aguas les arrebataron la vida.

Hasta ayer por la mañana según el oficial de policia se habían rescatado 3 cuerpos y aparentemente  estaba otra cuerpo sin aparecer. Estas familias son de Centroamerica e intentaban cruzar a los Estados Unidos.
