The 11U Eagle Pass American League All Stars were blessed with a mass in their honor on Wednesday at Our Lady of Refuge Church.
Parents, players, coaches and the parishioners of the church were on hand to wish the team well as they prepare to take on South Texas' finest at the tournament which runs through this weekend.
The District 35 Champions are coached by Eddie Sepulveda, Rene Rodriguez and Ricardo Vera.
Players include Kali Salinas, Jesse Rodriguez, Jose Pablo Ramos, Aaron Trevizo, Ethan Gomez, Roly Limenez, David Heredia, Zack Zapata, Andy Flores, Gabriel Riojas, Diego Valenzuela, Jacob Salinas and Eddie Sepulveda.
The Eagle Pass Stars take on San Antonio McAllister tonight at Henry Staten Field.
