According to information given by Sgt. Escareño of the Eagle Pass Police Department an arrest was made Tuesday morning when a local resident called 911 reporting her son had just come home with some property that was not his. 

The mother made the call to the police department and made the report at about 6:15 a.m. The young man could be part of a string of robberies that have plagued the area of town near Eagle Pass Junior High for the last several weeks.  Officials responded to the call and upon further investigation the minor was taken into custody for theft. 

The case was handled by the auto theft unit of the police department and according to Sgt. Escareño the investigation further showed that the young man had property from 10 other cases that are involved in property being stolen from automobiles. 

The juvenile was taken into custody in Del Rio, Tx. for a period of 10 days. 

Madre denuncia a su hijo por robo de autos

El Sargento Escareño  nos informó que ayer una madre llamó al departmento de policia para denunciar a su  hijo  quien llegó a las 10:30 de la mañana, y  le llamó la atención que llegó con cosas que no eran de él, y por esta razon llamó a la policia.

El joven fue llevado para investigación y se logró descubrir que este joven participó por lo menos en 10 robos  que pueden ser los que se han cometido  en el area de Royal Ridge. la policia  lo llevó ante un juez de paz  quien firmó una  orden para que fuera llevado a una carcel juvenil a Del Rio, Texas por diez dias.  Se sigue investigando y posiblemente pronto caigan mas complices de este joven.
