According to Ballou there is a whole lot of speculation as the state has a system to report any abuse, neglect or exploitation of probationers where the complaint was entered.
The Probation Board was scheduled to meet on Monday to address this among other pending issues within the tri-county area which include the investigation along with the appointment of an Interim Administrator for the Probation Department while the investigation is conducted.
The meeting of the Probation Board was scheduled to be held on Monday at 3:00 PM in Dimmit County, however no further information was available at press time.
"There's nothing for me to hide," said Ballou, "I'll go through this investigation and cooperate fully. I expect to be able to return to my position soon thereafter."
