The Uvalde native and proprietor of Hierbería La Catrina in the Pecan Capital of the World will be driving home in style in her silver 2015 BMW 335i. Mrs. Cortez who was at the drawing with her husband said her two daughters did not know she had won, but she's sure they will be asking Mom for the keys. When asked what it felt like to win such a beautiful prize she said, "Creo yo que la mejor ganancia es estar vivos en este mundo... Lo material va y viene. <I think that the most important thing is to be alive in this world... Material possessions come and go>."
