MCHD Board President Joaquin Rodriguez tendered his letter of resignation which will be effective on June 30, 2015.

President of the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees Joaquin Rodriguez has tendered his Letter of Resignation which as of June 30th, the date of the next regular board meeting, will be official.
Rodriguez has served on the MCHD Board of Trustees for approximately five years and was most recently re-elected at the November general election.
The local attorney who has been a very productive, yet outspoken member of the board which has worked diligently to continue to provide much needed services for the citizens of Eagle Pass, Maverick County, South Texas and even Mexico such as the advent of a local cancer treatment center, the advent of specialists in cardiology and orthopedic surgery among many others.
His submission of this letter of resignation comes as a surprise so early in his second term, however Rodriguez cites personal reasons for stepping down.
