Preliminary reports say that the man either fell out or threw himself out of a moving vehicle, prompting passerbys to alert law enforcement officials.

The incident halted traffic on Highway 57 for some time while emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene.

Initial reports stated that the man was seen bleeding profusely from his head and a concern was obvious for his livelihood as he was approximately fifteen miles out of Eagle Pass.

According to Sheriff Tom Schmerber, the man was taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center where he was being treated for severe head and back injuries.

The incident continues under investigation.

Un accidente espantoso ocurrió en la carretera 57 al norte del puesto de control donde los agentes del alguacil se apresuraron a encontrar a un hombre sangrando profusamente de la cabeza y estaba tirado en el pavimento.

Los informes preliminares dicen que el hombre tampoco se cayó o se arrojó de un vehículo en movimiento, lo que provocó a varios motoristas alertar a los funcionarios encargados de hacer cumplir la ley.

El incidente se detuvo el tráfico en la autopista 57 durante algún tiempo, mientras que el personal médico de emergencia llegaron al lugar.

Los informes iniciales indicaron que el hombre fue visto sangrando profusamente de la cabeza y una preocupación era evidente por su medio de vida como era aproximadamente quince millas fuera de Eagle Pass.
