The Event will be held on July 10th, 2015 at Uvalde Grand Opera House, Uvalde, TX, 8:00 pm. Texas Hill Country Opera & Arts presents Doc. Watkins and his Jazz Trio for a relaxing evening of Jazz at its best, light opera to cool you on a hot Summer Night and Hot Apple Pie and Ice Cream to fill you with a taste of Texas Hill Country Summer musical hospitality.  Doc, a pianist of international renown, ranges from Jazz to Country to Opera to original compositions.
    The pies served at the post performance reception will be the product produced by an apple pie Bake-Off.  Three winners will receive prizes and will be announced at the performance.
    Any donations received at the reception with go to a back to school program for needy children coordinated by the Uvalde Retired Teachers Association.
